[Title] => Inauguration of Justice Hall in Argao: Davide recalls history of building's location
[Summary] => Chief Justice Hilario Davide Jr. yesterday led the blessing and inauguration of the two-story Hall of Justice building located right at the heart of his hometown Argao where his childhood, World War II and other events, transpired for a colorful history he could still vividly recall.
This new Hall of Justice-housing the trial courts, municipal trial courts, a library and offices of judicial employees-was once the elementary school where Davide stood among its graduates 56 years ago.

[Title] => Wow, Argao!
[Summary] =>
Summers upon us and the heat is as relentless and over-whelming as the billboards in Metro Manila. As a kid, summer meant freedom from school, and for a number of years, an idyllic escape to Cebu. A recent trip down south to Sugbu (as the island is called by native Sugbuanons) recently brought back childhood memories. I couldnt help comparing the present-day province with those images from my past some things changed while some remained the same.

What or how would you feel if a third or a fourth of your annual income was given away by Sara Duterte to somebody you did not know from Adam, somebody the government itself has said it has no record of having been born, married, lived nor having died in the Philippines. And plainly, somebody who did not exist at all?
