[Title] => Mon David: Music is the air I breathe
[Summary] =>
I have always been a "cry-baby": I cry at beautiful commercials; I cried a bunch while reading the novel and watching the movie, The Notebook; I cry during testimonials for birthday celebrations of people I love and respect.

[Title] => The silly Seventies
[Summary] => Slitherin lizards, do you remember the Seventies? As it happens, I do remember exactly when the Sixties segued into the Seventies at 11:59 of Jan. 31, 1969, natcherly but what I meant was, I know exactly what I was doing back then: looking out a window in our apartment in UP Village at the night sky, wishing upon starbursts (for what I can only imagine were the affections of a girl). "Its 1970," I remember telling myself. I was turning 16 in two weeks.

[Title] => The best thing about Kuh Ledesma - DIRECT LINE by Boy Abunda
[Summary] => I’ve known Kuh Ledesma even before I actually met her. Not because I have watched her at the Regent’s Alibi Bar with the Music and Magic. Neither was it because I paid attention to this gorgeous morena proclaiming on TV, "If my friends could see me now." It was not even because of her braided hair that you could not ignore as she proudly declared, "Ako ay Pilipino." I knew her because she looked good from a distance; and even looked better from the inside. She also looked smashing when she didn’t smile. There was a certain iciness about her.
