"I am with my son now here at our safehouse. He was not kidnapped, just missing," Cam said in a phone interview at noon.


Paolo arrived at the safehouse at 11:30 a.m. from a hotel room in Legazpi City in Bicol.


According to Cam, their relatives fetched his 17-year-old son Paolo, who was with friends at the Carlos Hometel in Barangay Rawis at around 1 a.m.

                    [Summary] => The son of  jueteng bagwoman and payoff whistleblower Sandra Cam has been missing since Tuesday night, her lawyer, former Solicitor General Frank Chavez, claimed yesterday.


Chavez said Cam’s 17-year-old son Paolo did not come home after his classes at the Airlink International Aviation School in Pasay City ended at 6 p.m. last Tuesday.


Chavez said Paolo, a freshman taking up aircraft technology, was supposed to be home at 7 p.m. that day.

                    [Summary] => CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna — A pilot and his student were killed when their training aircraft — a two-seater Piper Tomahawk — crashed on Lubang Island in Occidental Mindoro yesterday morning, police said.


Senior Superintendent Chito de los Santos, deputy regional director for operations of the Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) police, identified the fatalities as Air Force Capt. Nestor Mayo and Timothy de Guzman, his student at the Airlink International Aviation School at Nichols Air Base in Pasay City.
