FiberXers tap ex-Phoenix import

Former Phoenix Fuel Masters import Donovan Smith has been tapped by Converge to be its new import, the FiberXers announced on Facebook.
Smith will be replacing Kylor Kelley as the team’s foreign reinforcement, with three elimination games remaining.
The 6-foot-10 Smith averaged 30.3 points, 11.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists for the Fuel Masters in the Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup.
"Donovan Smith joins the FiberXers! A new force in the lineup as we aim to close the Commissioner’s Cup strong," Converge posted on its Facebook page.
Kelley has been the team’s import in this import-laden conference, averaging just 11.6 points and 14.4 rebounds per contest.
However, the squad just won three of its nine games thus far.
