Chameleons tangle with Foxies

MANILA, Philippines — Nxled and Farm Fresh, two teams that benefitted the most in the wild pre-season recruiting spree, display their new acquisitions as they collide today in the PVL All-Filipino Conference at the Filoil Arena.

The Chameleons, who practically absorbed the bulk of the on-leave Petro Gazz team that ruled this conference and the Reinforced last year headed by Brooke Van Sickle, battle the Foxies at 4 p.m.

Aside from Van Sickle, other former Angels who jumped ship were MJ Phillips, Myla Pablo, Jonah Sabete, Jules Tolentino and Bang Pineda.

Two other key additions for the fledgling franchise are Aby Maraño from the defunct Chery Tiggo and Aduke Ogunsanya from Choco Mucho. They will join a team with a nucleus including EJ Laure, Chiara Permentilla and Krich Macaslang.

The challenge Nxled coach Ettore Guidetti faces right now is how to utilize his loaded squad.
