Frigoni to stay, De Brito out

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Volleyball Federation is looking to extend the contract of Alas men’s coach Angiolino Frigoni and is hoping to tap Tai Bundit as successor to Jorge de Brito for the women’s team.

“His (Frigoni) contract will expire in July 2026 but we will renew his contract,” PNVF chief Tonyboy Liao told The STAR.

Since Frigoni took over, Alas has improved by leaps and bounds as evidenced by their historic 19th place finish in the FIVB World Championship.
