SPORTING CHANCE - Joaquin M. Henson - The Philippine Star

The PBA draft will take place at Market! Market! in Taguig this afternoon and with the expectation of a bumper crop, the No. 1 overall pick is anybody’s guess. It could be Stephen Holt of St. Mary’s College or Ricci Rivero of La Salle/UP or Zavier Lucero of California State University Maritime Academy/UP or Luis Villegas of Stanislaus State/UE or Deschon Winston of Central Michigan University/La Salle or Keith Datu of Chico State. Terrafirma has the first crack and coach Johnedel Cardel could pick either the best available talent at any position or the top big man to complement star guard Juami Tiongson.
