MANILA, Philippines — The Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) will resume on-site with an increase in prize pool to $300,000.

The regional tournament pitting the top Mobile Legends teams in Southeast Asia was cancelled during 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was held virtually last year.

Malaysia will be hosting the tournament's return to an on-site event, with the prize pool having doubled from last year. This year's tournament will also see the return of teams from Myanmar, having skipped last year's tournament.

Additional information on tickets and in-game campaigns will be announced at a later date.

Last year, Philippine teams Blacklist Internation and Smart Omega (then Execration) dominated the MSC, setting up an all-Filipino grand finals with Smart Omega eventually taking the crown.
