Pasig, San Juan score

MANILA, Philippines — Pasig-Sta. Lucia and San Juan-Go For Gold AICC extended their unbeaten campaigns to advance to the quarterfinals of the Chooks-to-Go-MPBL Invitational at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City yesterday.

The Realtors pummeled All-Star Bacolod, 86-61, to climb up to 4-0 in Pool A while the Knights thwarted Muntinlupa, 71-67, for a 3-0 slate in Pool C.

The win formalized Pasig’s No. 1 finish in Pool A regardless of the result of its last match against Negros while San Juan booked a sure top-two finish ahead of its last game against fellow unbeaten Pool C squad Nueva Ecija (2-0).
