Luzon Breeders Cup series final round set today
MANILA, Philippines — The third and last round (set C) of the Luzon Breeders Cup (LBC) 9-Stag Derby series unfolds at Pasay City Cockpit today, with participants looking to make the 3-stag semifinals Friday.
Entry fee for those who will field straight five stags Friday remains at P7,000, according to Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) president Nick Crisostomo.
Last Friday, six participants racked up five wins each at PCC to enter the grand finals on Aug. 30 in the event backed by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000.
They were Mandy Garcia (Barigon MG Nov. 2 Lemery), Orlando Castillo (San Ignacio), Jun Lovendino (V Farm Baby Catriona), Nelson Uy/Dong Chung (Hapi Papa), Carlos de Jesus (Sagupaan Don Carlos) and Ronald Barandino (Jan. 10 Pasay 4 -Cock).
Thirty-four participants with five points and 13 with 4.5 points have booked berths to the grandfinals. For those with 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 and 4 points, the final round is Aug. 26.
