‘Bakbakan’ resumes in five venues
MANILA, Philippines — After attracting more than 3,000 entries in the first three weeks, the FIGBA National Bakbakan 12-Stag Derby resumes today in five venues.
Today’s 3-stag elims will be headed by gamefowl breeders associations – Bulacan GBA, Camarines GBA, Negros GBA, Zamboanga GBA and GBA Caraga.
“Starting today up to the grand finals on Dec. 13 and 15 at Roligon, only ‘Bakbakan’ banded stags will be accepted,” said FIGBA president Ricoy Palmares Jr.
The International Federation of Gamefowl Breeders Associations (FIGBA ) organized the 2018 Bakbakan.
Marianas GBA, the first international member of FIGBA, will hold its elimination rounds on Nov. 9 and 10 in Saipan.
‘Bakbakan’ is co-presented by Thunderbird – Passion of the Filipino Nation, B-MEG Integra Power Maxx, and Excellence Poultry and Livestock Specialist, in cooperation with Hagibis, Salto, Pit Fighter, VNJ Distributors and Mad Science.
