Team Phl, also featuring Rhon Jay Abarrientos, Rhayyan Amsali and Jeepy Faundo, is hard pressed to win its last two games after dropping its matches against fifth-ranked Slovenia (14-21) and top seed Serbia (16-21) on opening day.
Going into today’s matches, China is in the lead in Pool C with a 2-0 win-loss card, followed by Turkmenistan, Serbia and Slovenia at 1-1 then the Philippines at 0-2.
