MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police and Senate try to keep their 1-2 posts as they take on separate rivals tomorrow in the second UNTV Cup Executive Face-Off at the Pasig Sports Center.
The PNP Responders clash with the DOJ Boosters at 5 p.m. with the former gunning for their fifth straight victory in the tournament that offers P1 million to the chosen charity of the champion team.
The Sentinels, meanwhile, hope to come out strong off a long break as they square off with the Ombudsman Graftbusters at 2 p.m.
Tipped to lead the Responders are Joel De Mesa, Anthony Padua, Ireneo Dalogdog, Philip Gil Philips, and Israel Dickson who combined in the team’s runaway 98-50 rout over the GSIS Furies.
