MANILA, Philippines - Salomon, a leading trail running brand, gears up for the Salomon X-Trail Run set July 23 at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
Now on its seventh year, the event is expected to draw over a thousand participants while holding two race levels like the Fun Trail category with six km and 12 km distances and the tougher “Mountain Run” with 24 km and 32 km routes.
“We expect a tougher but more exciting race this year,” said Jessa Mae Runes, brand associate of the organizing Primer Group of Companies in yesterday’s event launch at the R.O.X. in BGC, Taguig.
Runes said only runners who would finish within the cutoff time of five hours for the 24-km and seven hours for the 32-km will get to take home a finisher’s medal.
The Mountain Run participants will receive a race kit, which will include a race bib, a timing chip, a Salomon X-Trail technical jersey, a Salomon race cap, and post-race meal and products from its partners, including The Philippine STAR.
