Figba Bakbakan derby qualifiers resume today
MANILA, Philippines - The Figba National Bakbakan 12-stag derby holds another 3-stag elims today with another set of qualifiers slated on Monday at the Roligon Mega Cockpit.
Backed by 37 gamefowl breeders groups nationwide, the Figba derby has attracted more than 6,000 entries as of yesterday.
Meanwhile, the 4-stag semifinals will be held on Dec. 1, also at Roligon.
“With 22 qualifying rounds left, we are on the track of hitting 7,000 entries,’’ said Figba president Ricoy Palmares Jr.
Bakbakan 2016 is co-presented by Thunderbird the Winning Formula and B-Meg Integra Power Maxx in cooperation with Excellence Poultry and Livestock Specialists, Lakpue Drug Inc., Hagibis, Salto, Vitarich Titan, Vio-Plus, Pit Fighter and Mad Science.
