Sta. Lucia bounces back, whips Supremo Lex in PCBL

MANILA, Philippines – Buoyed by the entry of new players Jam Jamito, Paolo Javelona and comebacking Ivan Camasura, Sta. Lucia bounced back strong from its previous loss by giving Supremo Lex a sound beating, 80-67, Friday night in the PCBL Chairman’s Cup at the Marikina Sports Center.

It was the third win in five games for the Realtors, putting them in joint second place with Jumbo Plastic (3-2), which was defeated by Sta. Lucia in the early phase of the elimination round of the tournament supported by LGR, Spalding, Hahn Manila, Ambucore, During Barbeque and Restaurant and Gerry’s Grill.

 The addition of these three new players brought more balance and additional firepower for the Realtors, whose defensive game became more solid, particularly in the second half of their win against the Builders.
