Gregorio passes away

MANILA, Philippines – University of the Philippines Professor Martin Verdeprado Gregorio, father of PBA officials Patrick and Ryan and NLEX assistant team manager Allan, passed away yesterday in Quezon City.

He is survived by wife Lucille; children and in-laws Patrick and Marichele Gregorio, Allan and Ces Gregorio, Cecile and Jaimon Ascalon, Ryan and Jin Gregorio, Neil Macaaeg; and grandchildren Juan Paolo, Martin Raphael, Patricia Michaela, Jaime Martin, John Allan, Ysabelle Marie Briana, Angela Gabrielle, Andre Luis, Ramon Jose and Janna Marie.

A memorial service will be held at the Sta. Maria della Strada Church, Katipunan Road, Quezon City starting today, at 6 p.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends celebrate Gregorio’s life by supporting the Professor Martin V. Gregorio UP Visayas Foundation for the benefit of poor and deserving high school students in Panay.
