The Mica Tan-backed Bulldogs swept their first two games, including a 94-86 victory over the Mighty Bulsu last Tuesday to seize the solo lead. They hope to stretch their streak to three with a win over the Nic Belasco-led Pateros cagers in their 5:30 p.m. duel.

Pampanga, for its part, smashed the Pateros cagers, 99-89, also last Tuesday and are upbeat of their chances against the Marikina Wangs in the main game of a triple bill at 7:30 p.m.

Malolos Mighty Bulsu and Quezon City UP Maroons collide in the opener at 3:30 p.m.

Former La Salle standout Matt Salem sizzled for 23 points and snared 14 rebounds to lead the way for Manila NU-MFT.

FBA president and CEO LJ Serrano, commissioner and CFO Vince Hizon together with marketing and COO Claudia Perrine along with other league officials graced the previous games of the league, backed by Aksyon TV, Aksyon International, NET25 and Fox Sports.
