Big Men’s Camp up

MANILA, Philippines - Olympian Arturo Valenzona, through a foundation named after him is starting a year-round search for big men Nov. 7 at the Paraiso Ng Batang Maynila covered court opposite the Manila Zoo along Adriatico St. in Ermita.

More than 200 kids aged 8-18 are expected to attend the free clinic called “Big Men’s Camp”, to be held initially every Saturday and Sunday during school days and daily in summer.

“The project was originally a basketball clinic for kids, but we are now putting emphasis on the search for tall boys who can be developed to play for college, then the pro rank,” said Valenzona.
