MANILA, Philippines - Sheldon Chua and Arvin Jay Millet took the spotlight from the hyped-up Jonathan Tiu-Martin Manalo rivalry, ruling separate classes in the second leg of the National Drag Racing Championship Southern Series at the Batangas Racing Circuit in Rosario, Batangas recently.

Chua upstaged the favorites to top the Quick 8 class while the 22-year-old Millet of TEMZ captured his second M&H Pro class crown in the event sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines and sponsored by M&H, Sparco, Aguila Auto Glass and GT Radials.

Meanwhile, Tiu fell short of his title bid in the American V8 muscle cars for the second straight time following a mediocre stint in Clark the last time out.

This time, Manalo scored a big one as he knocked off Tiu from the finals picture in both classes to arrange a title duel with Chua and Millet. He, however, also failed to score in the Quick 8 and M&H Pro due to car problems.
