AMA U sets D-League tryouts

MANILA, Philippines - The AMA University PBA D-League team will be conducting tryouts every Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting at 6 p.m. at the AMA U wooden court.

The tryouts will be conducted by AMA U sports director/head coach Mark Herrera with Benjie Diswe, Edwin Ancheta, Eugene Bautista and Bobby Andaya as assistants.

“This is our second time to join the PBA D-League as a school-based team. We finished No. 8 in the last conference and that’s an achievement for us as a first timer,” said Herrera.

The team is supported by team owner Amable Aguiluz, team manager Arnel Hibo and assistant team manager Oca de Chavez.
