Claret sweeps RIFA summer fest

MANILA, Philippines - Claret School of Quezon City U11 football team blanked La Salle, 3-0, to bag the gold medal via sweep of the Rizal Football Association (RIFA) Summer Festival at the Colegio de San Agustin in Makati City recently.

The Claret Red Roosters trounced the Ateneo side, 3-1, in the semifinals then overpowered the La Salle squad in the finals to nail their second championship in the annual tournament.

The victory also underscored Claret’s sound football program under coach Salvador “Bob” Salvacion, Dodjie Locsin, and Benj Anicete.
