Tri United 2 triathlon staged in Batangas July 7

MANILA, Philippines - Triathlon action returns big time in the province of Batangas as Playa Laiya in San Juan hosts the Tri United 2 triathlon event on July 7.

Organized by Bike King headed by Raul Cuevas, the one-day race is composed of long distance (2K swim-60 K bike-15 K run) for the main event and sprint distance (750m swim-20 K bike-5 K run) for the side event which will showcase the many natural sights of San Juan. According to the organizers, the race has already attracted 650 participants from around the nation since registration ended last April.

 Specially designed medals plus gift packs await the Top 3 male and female category winners. All participants are entitled to meals and Active Health Village passes. Firing the gun to start the race is UNILAB Active Health  head Alex Panlilio.
