Ex-Olympian holds swimming clinics

MANILA, Philippines - Former Olympian Ral Rosario is holding a Milo-sponsored SwimTech learn-to-swim clinic covering five two-week batches this summer.

The clinics will be held April 1-12, April 15-26, April 29-May 10, May 13-24 and May 27-June 7.

The program offers both a learn-to-swim for beginners and a preparatory program for advanced students about to join a swimming team. This module covers stroke correction.

“I have been involved with swimming  for decades and with SwimTech, I was able to share my knowledge of swimming with people, kids in particular, from all over the Philippines as the program has already evolved into a nationwide program, “ said Rosario, also an Asian gold medalist in 1978, adding  that last year, close to 4,000 kids joined the program.

SwimTech offers classes in Malabon, Quezon City, and Marikina in NCR, Laguna, Bulacan, Cavite, Rizal, Mindoro, Isabela, Iloilo City, Cagayan de Oro, Butuan, General Santos and Cotabato.
