Nabong-Tan paces Valiant bowling tilt

MANILA, Philippines - Nolan Nabong and Esteban Tan combined for 472 points as they grabbed the lead in the sixth week of the Valiant Tuesday League at the Pearl Bowling Center.

Erwin Choa and Maybank’s Mac Macaisa, who showed the way last week, dropped to second with 469 points in a tie with PetCity hobby specialist Eric Tiu and national team member Liza del Rosario, also the current league high average leader with 215.

League president Francis Dy, meanwhile, won the monthly championship (February) with a four-game series of 926, edging Joey Sy and John Tan.

Jasper Soon, on the other hand, took the week’s high game honors with a 269.
