MANILA, Philippines - The popular segment Thunderbird Inilog, formerly viewed in Tukaan, will now be seen on the top “Sabong Show ng Bayan†Sabong TV starting Feb. 16.
Sabong TV, aired every Saturday over ABS-CBN’s Studio 23 at 7 a.m., will also be introducing a new video jock VJ Alyssa, a 19-year-old Batangueña and a budding model and singer being a member of the P2BP (Proud 2 B Pinay) band.
Hosted by Doc Hanzie Dal, Thunderbird’s Regional Promotions Coordinator for the Visayas, the segment Thunderbird Inilog is one of the most awaited portions of Tukaan before. But on Sabong TV, it is now the most-watched cockfight-related program in the country.
Thunderbird, the undisputed leader in the gamefowl feeds and vetmed industry, decided to send Doc Hanzie to Sabong TV where his segment will gain better exposure.
Doc Rodner Tuquib, Thunderbird’s RPC for Mindanao, has been with Sabong TV for the past two years as segment host of Thunderbird’s Labuk-Tusik. Doc Rodner and Doc Hanzie (Ang Seedfowl ng Bayan) will now join hands to inform and entertain.
In the provinces, Sabong TV over Studio 23 can be viewed in Luzon on TV-23 Manila, TV-23 Santiago, Isabela; TV-23 Laoag; TV-32 Baguio, TV-23 Zambales, TV-24 Olongapo, TV-22 Baler; TV-36 Batangas, and TV-23 Palawan, TV24 Naga and TV-23 Legazpi.
In Visayas, Studio 23 is telecast on TV-23 Cebu, TV-22 Bacolod, TV-38 Iloilo, TV-24 Tacloban,TV-24 Dumaguete and TV-40 Bohol.
In Mindanao, Sabong TV is shown over TV-21 Davao, TV-23 Zamboanga, TV-36 General Santos, TV-23 Cagayan de Oro, TV-26 Iligan, TV-22 Butuan, TV-23 Cotabato and TV-23 Surigao.
