Bike for the Environment

MANILA, Philippines - Biking enthusiasts braved the challenging terrain in the Bike for the Environment 2 that aims to raise public awareness in the rehabilitation of the Marikina Watershed.

Organized by Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) under the auspices of the Philippine Disaster Recovery Foundation (PDRF), Bike for the Environment is the second in a series of biking events that aim to save, heal and restore the Marikina Watershed.

The bike race held last Dec. 16 started and ended at Pintong Bukawe in San Mateo, Rizal.  The route traced a 20-kilometer loop on the fringes of the Marikina Watershed.
