Bloemen Golf Cup under way

MANILA, Philippines - With handsome hole-in-one rewards, trophies and raffle prizes worth P500,000, a big turnout is seen in the 20th Br. Alphonsus Bloemen Golf Cup starting today at the Forest Hills Golf and Country Club in Antipolo.

A Tucson SUV from Hyundai Marcos Highway, a Picanto from KIA Metro East, a Vespa Scooter from Autohub Group, as well as Golfcart from Club Car Phils., P100,000 in Pagcor chips and P100,000 cash from MAA Assurance are the valuable hole-in-one prizes.

The tournament, which kicks off the 2012 Animo Golf Tour Series to be hosted by various La Salle Alumni Associations, offers competitions in Class A, B, C, Senior’s and Friends divisions, as well as Batch Championship. The Entry fee is P3,000, which is inclusive of green fee, golf cart, lunch buffet, giveaways, raffle and mulligans.

The Bloemen Golf Cup, formerly known as Drive for a Cause, is an annual fund-raising event of the La Salle Green Hills Alumni Association (LSGHAA), which benefits the Adult Night High School Scholarship Fund that gives free La Salle-quality education to less fortunate adults.

The tournament is presented by PLDT with Hyundai Marcos Highway, Pacsports, SMDC, Meralco, 100+, Tanduay Ice, Pagcor, Forest Hills, Robinson’s Communities & Residences, Sports Specialists, East West Bank and ATR KIM ENG as major sponsors.
