-

MANILA, Philippines - David Coulthard sometimes known as DC is a former Formula One racing driver from Scotland arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on board Philippine Airlines flight PR 506 from Singapore where he will co-presents the F1 coverage for BBC alongside with Jake Humphries and F1 team owner Eddie Jordan.

Throughout his Formula One career he managed a total of 13 wins, 62 podium finishes and 12 Pole Positions. He is also currently the eighth highest scoring driver of all time with a career total of 535 points.

Since leaving Formula One he hasn’t totally left behind the world of driving as he currently presents the Formula One coverage for the BBC and has recently been seen in the Race of Champions and also competing in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters in 2010 where he finished 16th.

Although officially retired from racing, the two-time Monaco Grand Prix winner Coulthard is still very much involved in F1 as a BBC commentator.

He uses his distinct insight on the sport, having raced for Williams F1, McLaren-Mercedes and Red Bull Racing in 15 seasons. Throughout his career, he has blazed his own trail is racing history, having managed a total of 13 wins, 62 podium finishes and 12 pole positions.

He is also the all-time leading British points scorer in F1.

Recently, the 40-year-old TW Steel ambassador announced that he will compete again in the German-based DTM series in 2011, racing for Team Mucke Motorsport.

TW Steel, the Dutch brand specializing in oversized timepieces, used the magnificent setting of Monte Carlo to launch the all new TW Steel David Coulthard Special Edition watch. Coulthard joined TW Steel onboard their yacht to showcase their latest offering and the first models to make up the new CEO Tech Collection.        – Olmin Leyba

The TW Steel ambassador since last May, will again compete in the German-based DTM Series in 2011, racing for Team Mücke Motorsport, while he also serves as a Formula One commentator for BBC Television – using his unique insight as a 13-time Grand Prix winner having raced for Williams F1, McLaren-Mercedes and Red Bull Racing in 15 seasons in the sport.

“I’m thoroughly enjoying working with TW Steel as an ambassador so I guess it was only natural that the next step was to produce a watch together,” stated Coulthard.  “I think the end result is certainly one that maintains TW Steel’s bold appeal while it perfectly reflects my own appreciation for subtle yet distinctive styling.  To be launching it in Monaco is extra special given my successes here but it is also fitting considering this is an appealing, high-end watch!”
