Ford-TRS drivers eye PPCC crown

MANILA, Philippines –  The Ford Focus-TRS Racing Team shoots for the overall crown in the third and final leg of the Philippine Production Car Championship set this weekend at the Clark International Speedway in Angeles City.

The Ford Focus-TRS Racing Team currently holds the 1-3 positions and will be banking on Marcus Wong, Sean Redpath, Alvin Ng, Bjorn Ongtiabok, Bobby Horrigan and Manger Calderon in its title bid.

From being a new player in Philippine motorsports, the Ford Focus 1.8 Sedan has proved its worth in the circuit. Last year, the Ford Focus claimed the top three places in the GT 125 series behind Sean Redpath, Ding Dizon and Singaporean Marcus Wong.

Wong and Redpath are aiming for a repeat as they currently hold the first and third positions in the overall standing of Philippine Production Car Championship.

 “The competition will be a lot tougher and challenging going into the last three races of the series. But we’re confident our drivers will again put up a good fight and deliver the laurels for the team,” said Tuason Racing School president JP Tuason.
