Medics II rules Ate-K

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines  – The Team Medics II emerged overall champion as they bested seven other teams in the recently concluded Angguan Tan Ehersisyo Ed Kapitolyo (ATE-K) 2010.

Team Medics II representing employees from some of the provincial government hospitals, bagged the crown after beating other teams in various team events such as basketball, volleyball (women), lawn tennis (men), and badminton doubles (women).

A capitol sportsfest, ATE-K was conceptualized by Gov. Amado Espino Jr. 2008, which aims to develop sense of brotherhood and teamwork that will help promote strong camaraderie among provincial employees.

The second best team went to The Generals which is composed of employees from the General Services Office and Pangasinan Provincial Security and Social Service Division.

Team Warriors composed of employees from the Governor’s Office, Provincial Warden, Human Resources and Management Office, Housing, Provincial Disaster Coordinating Council, Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center, Provincial Employment and Services Office, Capitol Resort Hotel, Tourism, Provincial Planning and Development Office, Management Information Service Office and the Provincial Information Office landed on third place.
