Benilde tossers rally to pound Perpetual

MANILA, Philippines - St. Benilde bounced back from a two-set deficit to beat Perpetual Help, 18-25, 15-25, 25-19, 25-22, 15-8, and seize the solo lead in the women’s division of the 86th NCAA volleyball competition at the Emilio Aguinaldo College gym recently.
Power-hitting Giza Yumang and Rossan Fajardo took charge for the Lady Blazers in the last three sets as they turned back the Lady Altas for their third straight win in the event backed by Mikasa and Asics.
It was a sorry loss for the Lady Altas, who failed to sustain their solid start and fell to their first setback against two wins.
