Top cue artists start quest

MANILA, Philippines – The Filipino cue masters began their campaign in the group stage of Etisalat World 8-Ball Pool Championship 2010 at the Fujairah Tennis Club in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates last night.

Plunging into action are Ronnie Alcano versus Radoslaw Babica of Poland in Group 1, Dennis Orcollo against countryman Oliver Medanilla in Group 4, Raymund Faraon with Lee Chenman of Hong Kong in Group 1, former snooker specialist Joven Alba against local pride Ali Nasih in Group 2, Venancio Tanio opposite Pei Wei Chang of Taiwan in Group 3 and Lee Vann Corteza versus Majid Sultan in Group 4.
