Banayag 3rd in HK run

MANILA, Philippines - Jho-Ann Banayag and Eduardo Buenavista dished out a pair of impressive runs in Standard Chartered Bank Marathon in Hong Kong last weekend, finishing within the top four of their respective events that drew a combined cast of nearly 70,000.

Banayag, a gold medal winner in marathon of the 25th Southeast Asian Games in Laos, finished a strong third in the women’s division with a 2:52:33 clocking behind Indonesian Triyaningsih and Chinese Jin Ling Ling.

Triyaningsih topped the event in 2:47:35 while Jin came in second in 2:48.40.
