Brent tanker shines

MANILA, Philippines - Erika Visitacion set a record swim in the 50m breaststroke to power the Brent Int’l School-Manila in the high school division of the League of Southern Manila Schools recently.

Visitacion clocked 35.73 seconds as she bested national team mainstay Hannah Dato of San Beda-Alabang (37.78) and Christine Grace Tan of La Salle (37.88).

The Brent AquaLions won the gold under the Colorado time system.

Visitacion’s clocking was a new league record and a personal best as she surpassed her Beijing China Golden mark of 35.88 seconds she posted during the Asia Pacific Swimming Championship.
