Javier, Ong rule ABC monthly tilt
MANILA, Philippines - Ronnie Javier of ABC Phils. rolled a six-game series of 1429 to rule Group I while Kathlyn Ong of Firefly Lightings topped Group 2 with a 1302 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championships at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.
Denis Jalandoon of Toto shot 1395, Nepthy del Rosario of Boysen Paints made 1362 and Buddy Segui of Supreme Steel Pipes Corp. had 1297 to place second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group I of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
Eugene Panaguiton (1171) of Philflex Wires and Cables, Sonny Pinion (1114) of Lepanto Tiles and Frederick Cheuengco (1081) of Crown Pipes finished second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.
Meanwhile, action in the tournament, backed by Pro Active Pest Control, Stone 2000, Atlanta Industries, Philflex Wires and Cables, Hocheng Phils., Sika Phils. and Emerald Vinyl, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the all-events, three-man team event at Paeng’s Bowling Center at Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City.
