Dumaguete ace spiker returns

Here’s one piece of news that should send shivers down the other participants’ spines: Kent Bulabon, the exciting half of last year’s Nestea beach volley champion, Foundation University of Dumaguete, is back.

The power-hitting Bulabon has confirmed his participation in the Visayas-Mindanao eliminations of the sixth Nestea Beach Volley University Championships set from April 13-15 at the sand courts of La Salle Green Hills, making Foundation University the team to beat this year.

What makes Foundation University even tougher is the fact that Bulabon is joining forces with schoolmate Isidro Bongcasan, who paired with Eduard Balbuena when the other Foundation team lost to Bulabon and Ralph Mingueto in a pulsating finals match in the island paradise of Boracay.

Other than Foundation, several other teams from as far as Tawi Tawi have confirmed their participation and the tandem of Bulabon and Bongcasan is expected to find some tough opposition.
