Visayas joins protest vs pork barrel

CEBU, Philippines - Thousands from various sectors in the three Visayas regions---Western Visayas, Central Visayas and Eastern Visayas---have joined yesterday's nationwide movement for the abolition of the pork barrel (euphemistically called Priority Development Assistance Fund) of the legislative and executive departments of the government.

They also demanded for the prosecution of lawmakers and their accomplices in the plunder of these public funds. Here are the reports of the simultaneous rally against the pork barrel in all parts of the Visayas.
