DOT sa hotels at resorts: Walang certificate, walang operasyon!
MANILA, Philippines — Pinayagan nang makabalik sa operasyon ang mga hotel at mga resorts sa mga lugar na inilagay sa Modified General Community Quarantine (GCQ) ngunit ipinaalala ng Department of Tourism na kailangang kumuha muna sila ng DOT Certificate of Authority to Operate bago bumalik sa negosyo.
Sinabi ni DOT Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat na nasa ilalim ito ng Section 3 ng Administrative Order 2020-002 o ang Guidelines on the Operations of Hotels and other Accommodation Establishments under a Community Quarantine.
“All Accommodation Establishments that intend to commence commercial operations in Community Quarantine Zones, whether for the accommodation of guests or operations of in-house food facilities for take–out or delivery, shall secure a DOT Certificate of Authority to Operate prior to any operations,” ani Puyat.
Libre naman umano ang aplikasyon ng naturang certificate at kailangan lamang na magsumite ng Letter of Intent to Operate sa DOT Regional Office na nakakasakop sa kanilang lugar.
