Pacquiao ayaw ma-overtraining ni Roach

RC - Pang-masa

“Normally we go to about 150 rounds average, I think we have to cut a little bit from that,” wika ni Roach sa gagawin nilang sparring session ni Pacquiao. “I think we will go 110 (rounds).”

“I think when we train Manny it won’t be too long, ‘cause he gets in shape pretty fast and I don’t want to burn him out. So we’ll have a 6-week training camp,” ani Roach kay Pacquiao na nanggaling sa isang sixthround KO loss kay Juan Manuel Marquez noong Disyembre 8, 2012.

“The thing is, if I see him slip in training camp then I’ll tell him it’s over. But until we get there we don’t know,” wika ni Roach.

“My number one prio-rity is to take care of my fighter no matter what. That means in the gym or in the fight,” dagdag pa nito.
