TV5 at Cignal TV, may bagong president at CEO!
Nagkaroon kahapon ng announcement ang appointment ni Mr. Guido R. Zaballero bilang president and chief executive officer (CEO) of TV5, effective Feb. 1, 2023.
Siya ang papalit sa posisyon ni Mr. Robert P. Galang, who headed Cignal TV and TV5 since 2020, na nag-retire na.
Habang si Ms. Jane J. Basas ang hahawak ng posisyon ng president and CEO ng Cignal TV, kasabay ng kanyang tungkulin bilang presidente at CEO ng Mediaquest, ang holding company ng TV5 at Cignal TV.
“We would like to thank Robert for his many years of dedicated service and for steering TV5 and Cignal to its current position of strength,” pahayag ni Ms. Basas.
“We welcome Guido as TV5’s new chief executive. With his proven track record of leadership through service and action, we are confident that he will take TV5 to the next level,” dagdag niya.
“I look forward to this new challenge, and I am grateful for this opportunity to serve,” banggit naman ni Mr. Zaballero.
“Marami kaming bagong pakulo dito sa Singko. Siguradong matutuwa lahat ng mga Kapatid natin.”
Naging bahagi ng Mediaquest Group bilang Cignal TV’s Vice President and Head of Marketing si Mr. Zaballero noong 2013.
At sa nakalipas na taon, siya ang naging instrumental in establishing Cignal TV’s present market leadership, growing its subscriber base from 500,000 to 4.3 million as of today.
