Running Man nasa ‘Pinas na!
MANILA, Philippines — Lalong tumindi ang excitement ng Kapuso fans dahil sa balitang pagpirma ng GMA Entertainment Group sa SBS Korea para sa reality-comedy game show na Running Man Philippines, noong February 11.
Present noong contract signing sina GMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe L. Gozon; President and Chief Operating Officer Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr.; Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong; Vice President for Entertainment Group Redgie Acuña-Magno; Vice President for Business Development Department II - Comedy/Infotainment/Reality Productions Janine Piad-Nacar; Assistant Vice President for Business Development Department II Bang Arespacochaga; at Senior Program Manager/Producer Enri T. Calaycay.
Representing naman para sa SBS Korea ay sina Chief Global Contents Officer Kim Yong Jae at Global Production & Business Team Director Kim Soo Hwan.
Para kay Atty. Gozon, ang partnership nilang ito sa SBS Korea ay isa na namang milestone para sa GMA at sa Pilipinas.
“We are very delighted to partner with a great institution in content. We know that Running Man is a top-rating program not only in South Korea, but in other countries as well. And we hope to make it a top-rater, too, here in the Philippines,” ani Atty. Gozon.
Para naman kay Kim Yong Jae, masaya rin silang maihatid sa mga Pilipino ang patok na Korean show na ito.
“This is the first time to co-produce this show in the Philippines. We experienced big success in Vietnam, China, and we are expecting a lot here, too. We are adapting the Filipino culture and artists, so Filipino fans have a lot to be excited for.”
Ang Running Man ay isa sa mga pinakasikat na palabas sa South Korea, featuring well-loved top Korean stars as cast at special guests tulad nina Jackie Chan, Tom Cruise at Henry Cavill na maglalaro sa nakakaaliw nilang challenges, at ginagawa ito sa iba’t ibang locations.
Matapos ang mahabang dekadang umeere ito, hindi nakapagtatakang nakilala ang Running Man, hindi lamang sa Asia, kung hindi pati na rin sa buong mundo.
