Ang Pulp Freakshow ang isa sa biggest events sa local rock and roll. Kaya ngayon sa pangunguna ng Viva Records in cooperation with Pulp Magazine, inihahandog ang raw power of live rock and roll in "Pulp: The Freakshow Album."

"Pulp: The Freakshow Album" gathers some of the most prominent names in local rock and roll scene - Radioactive Sago Project, Rivermaya, Itchyworms, the Brownbeat All-Stars, Greyhoundz, Teeth, Battery, Chico Science, Cheese, Badburn at Imago.

Available sa special prize na P250 per CD, ang "Pulp: The Freakshow Album" ay isang collector’s item lalo na sa mahihilig sa rock and roll. It is a live recording of the event na nangyari noong December 2001 sa The Fort na dinaluhan ng aabot sa 30,000 people.

The songs included in "Pulp: The Freakshow Album" ay "Gusto Ko Ng Baboy" ng Radioactive Sago Project, "Basketbol" ng Rivermaya, "Antipara" ng Itchyworms, "Azucar" ng Brownbeat All-Stars, "Pigface" ng Greyhoundz, "Shooting Star" by Teeth, "Coming Home" by Battery, "Amen" by Chico Science, "Trilogy" by Cheese, "Realm of the Wicked" by Badburn at "Rainsong" by Imago.

Ayon sa Pulp editor-in-chief na si Vermon Go, sa Pulp Freak Show, naging mas malinaw ang kanilang mission. "With the Pulp Freakshow, however, viewing the sea of some 30,000 heads, watching body surfers leap over the barricades of silence disappear back into the undulating sea of flesh, we realized, serendipitously in fact, that our mission is, if not to breathe life into rock of music in general, then to act as an artery for the music, not just the stories, the crazy photographs, the album reviews, and not just the mania of the live performances, but the myth and legend and perhaps most importantly the energy of rock and roll.
