Mau papalo sa Champions League
MANILA, Philippines — Malakas na tropa ang ipaparada ng F2 Logistics dahil masisilayan sa aksyon si Filipino-American Kalei Mau sa Champions League na planong itanghal sa susunod na buwan.
Kinumpirma mismo ni Mau na aariba ito sa one-week tournament suot ang jersey ng Cargo Movers.
“My next move is playing with F2 in the Champions League next month. I’m really excited,” pahayag ni Mau sa programang Power and Play.
Ngunit wala pang linaw kung irerenew ng Cargo Movers ang kontrata ng 6’2 outside hitter o tuluyan na itong lilipat ng koponan.
“Afterwards, we’ll see,” ani Mau.
Aminado si Mau na marami itong natatanggap na offers mula sa iba’t ibang teams sa Pilipjnas maging sa mga teams sa international leagues.
Subalit pinag-aaralan pa nito kung saan koponan ito maglalaro.
“I’ve been open to a lot of offers in other countries just because I love the experience and I love playing overseas it’s been very uncertain in the Philippines. I’ve been kind of interested in hearing what other teams and countries have to offer,” ani Mau.
Huli itong naglaro para sa Changos de Naranjito sa isang commercial league sa Puerto Rico.
Naglaro rin si Mau sa AVC Asian Women’s Club Championship sa Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
“I’m still negotiating with teams for the PVL conference. They’re one of the leagues that I’m thinking about and really trying to figure out what’s gonna be the best fit and what’s the best move for me and my career,” ani Mau.
