Obiena balik national team

MANILA, Philippines — Kagaya ng inaasahan, ibinalik ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) si World No. 3 pole vaulter Ernest John Obiena sa national team kasama ang lima pang atleta.

Nauna nang nagsumite ng endorsement letter ang Philippine Athletic Track and Field Association (PATAFA) sa PSC para muling isama ang Asian at Southeast Asian Games record-holder sa national squad.

Bumoto ang majority ng PATAFA Board sa pamumuno ni president Terry Capistrano para sa pagbabalik ni Obiena sa national team matapos ang kanilang special board meeting noong Linggo.

“We are thankful to the PATAFA leadership for taking this step to solidify the strength of our national athletics team,” sabi ni PSC Officer-in-Charge (OIC) at Commissioner Bong Coo.
