MANILA, Philippines — Magtutungo sa tanggapan ni outgoing Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada bukas ang binuong transition team ni Manila Mayor-elect Isko Moreno para matiyak na maayos ang isasagawang turnover ng city stewardship sa Hunyo 30.
Sinabi ni Moreno na nilagdaan na niya ang liham para kay Estrada na personal na ibibigay ng transition team bukas (Lunes) sa Manila City Hall.
Binubuo ang team ng incoming secretary to the mayor na si Councilor Bernie Ang; incoming city administrator Felix Espiritu; incoming city legal officer Atty. Jun Moreno, incoming chief of staff Cesar Chavez at Atty. Ronnie Puno.
Nabatid na si Ang ay incumbent third district councilor habang si Espiritu ay dating fifth district councilor; si Moreno naman ay chief of legal ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG); si Chavez ay dating undersecretary ng Department of Transportation and Communication at si Puno ay dati namang kalihim ng DILG.
“…pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019-30 dated 13 March 2019, you issued Executive Order No. 07 series of 2019 dated 1 April 2019 creating the Local Governance Transition Team and providing for its tasks and responsibilities thereunder,” nakasaad sa isang pahinang liham ni Moreno, na may petsang Mayo 24, 2019.
“In this regard, please advise the members of your Local Governance Transition Team to now accomplish the task and responsibilities to be performed by them and coordinate with my own transition team for the proper turnover of all records, documents and information as mandated in the above said DILG Memorandum Circular and Executive Order,” saad pa sa liham ni Moreno.
