MANILA, Philippines — Ikinokonsidera ni incoming President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr. ang imbitasyon sa kanya na dumalo sa “United Nations Climate Change Conference’s 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 27)” na gaganapin sa Egypt sa Nobyembre.
“Today I had the pleasure to meet his Excellency, President-Elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and I submitted to him an official congratulations from the Egyptian President, his Excellency Abdel Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil El – Sisi… I also took this opportunity to extend the invitation of his Excellency…to take part in November COP27,” pahayag ni Egypt Ambassador Ahmed Shehabeldin Ibrahim matapos ang kanyang courtesy call kay Marcos.
Ayon sa kampo ni Marcos, kung papayagan ng kanyang iskedyul ay dadalo ang incoming president.
Sinabi pa ng ambassador na masigasig din ang Egypt na palakasin ang relasyon sa Pilipinas sa pamamagitan ng pagpapaunlad ng iba pang larangan ng kooperasyon ng dalawang bansa, tulad ng agrikultura at turismo, gayundin ang pagtugon sa pagbabago ng klima.
