3,000 test kits isusunod
MANILA, Philippines — Patuloy si Senador Bong Go, katuwang ang Shopee, ang nangungunang e-commerce platform sa Southeast Asia at Taiwan, sa kanilang pagsisikap na masugpo ang COVID-19 outbreak sa Pilipinas.
Sa pamamagitan ng inisyatibang “Bayanihan”, nagdonasyon ang Shopee ng 100,000 surgical masks at nakatakda ring magbigay ng 3,000 FDA-approved COVID-19 test bilang ayuda sa mga ospital at frontliners sa pakikipaglaban sa COVID-19.
Ang 100,000 masks ay ipamamahagi sa mahigit 40 ospital sa Luzon na kabibilangan ng public at private hospitals sa Quezon City, Makati, Pasig, Pateros, Taguig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, Parañaque, Muntinlupa, Caloocan at Manila, gayundin din sa mga pangunahing pagamutan sa Laguna, Quezon, Rizal at Batangas.
Pinasalamatan at pinuri naman ni Go ang Shopee sa iniyastiba nito.
Sinabi ni Martin Yu, Associate Director ng Shopee Philippines na “It is important for us to tide through this fight against the COVID-19 outbreak as one community. Our medical frontliners and hospitals in the Philippines are working around the clock to contain the outbreak and we applaud them for their hard work and dedication. We are committed to doing what we can to support these medical frontliners, the government, and the wider community during this period.”

Ang tanggapan ni Go ang tumukoy ng mga target recipients at nag-facilitate ng distribusyon ng donasyong medical supplies sa 40 ospital.
