“We will have a dialogue. My suggestion to the PNP is that it should be a joint AFP-PNP people that will dialogue with the heads of the universities so that they will understand why we are saying that. And of course we will understand why they are saying/denying that they are not the recruitment grounds of the CPP-NPA,” pahayag ni Lorenzana .

Kabilang sa mga tinukoy ng AFP ang University of the Philippines (UP), Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, University of Sto. Tomas, University of Caloocan, San Beda University, Lyceum of the Philippines, University of Makati, Philippine Normal University at iba pa.

Iginigiit naman ni AFP spokesman Brig. Gen. Edgard Arevalo na makikipag-ugnayan din sila sa Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) kung saan aktibo ang recruitment ng CPP-NPA.

“Towards this end, the AFP is reaching out to the Department of Education (DepEd), the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd), and the Administrators of some of the schools to prevent the said arouse-organize-mobilize scheme of the CPP-NPA,” pahayag ni Arevalo.
