2 pulis-Caloocan kinasuhan ng murder sa pagpatay kina Carl, Kulot

MANILA, Philippines — Nagsampa ng kasong murder ang Department of Justice laban sa dalawang pulis-Caloocan na nasa likod ng pagpatay kina Carl Arnaiz at Reynaldo “Kulot” de Guzman.

Sinabi ng DOJ na nakakita sila ng probable cause upang makasuhan sina PO1 Jeffrey Perez at PO1 Ricky Aquilita ng murder, planting of evidence at torture.

"[Arnaiz] was deliberately killed when he was shot by Perez and Arqulita on different parts of his body, as evidenced by the multiple gunshot wounds which caused his instantaneous death," nakasaad sa 35-pahinang resolusyon.

Kahit sa Nueva Ecija na natagpuan ang bangkay ni Kulot, may testigong lumutang at nagsabing huling nakitang kasama nito si Arnaiz.

"To the mind of the Panel, the circumstantial evidence present in the death of De Guzman suffices to warrant a finding of probable cause against respondents-police Perez and Arquilita also for the crime of murder," patuloy ng DOJ.

Samantala, ibinasura naman ang kasong murder laban sa hinoldap umanong taxi driver na si Tomas Bagcal.

Magkasamang nawala mula ng Cainta, Rizal ang dalawang biktima ngunit 11 araw bago pa nakita ang bangkay ni Arnaiz sa isang punerarya.

Napatay si Arnaiz matapos umanong holdapin si Bagcal sa Caloocan City.
